Chinese National Day Holiday Schedule
What is China National Day?
Chinese National Day is celebrated on October 1st every year to commemorate the founding of People’s Republic of China. On that day, lots of large-scaled activities are held nationwide. The 7-day holiday from Oct. 1st to 7th is called 'Golden Week', On this day, people raise the national flag to celebrate our motherland to wish our motherland can become stronger and more prosperous.
In 2023, the National Day holiday follows the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, hence forming a prolonged holiday of 8 days.
According to the state regulations, our National Day holiday is arranged as follows:
The holiday: Sep.29 To Oct.06
Back to work: Oct.07
